Aquatic Monsters

Description

The following list of monsters all have the Aquatic Tag and can only be used if you are able to use this specific Tag. They are listed as Name, Attribute, Attack Power, Defense Power and Effect if they have one.

  1. Ameba WATER ATK 300 DEF 350 When the control of this unhidden monster on the field shifts to your opponent, inflict 2000 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points. This effect can only be used once as long as this monster remains unhidden on the field.
  2. Aquaactress Tetra WATER ATK 300 DEF 300 Once per turn: You can add 1 "Aquarium" card from your Graveyard to your Deck.
  3. Blizzed, Defender of the Ice Barrier WATER ATK 300 DEF 500 When this monster is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, gain 1 Magic Point.
  4. Change Slime WATER ATK 400 DEF 300 A slime that can morph and adopt the shape and size of any monster it chooses.
  5. Ooguchi Effect Monster WATER 1 300 250 This monster may attack your opponent's Life Points directly.
  6. Oppressed People WATER ATK 400 DEF 2000
  7. Puny Penguin WATER ATK 400 DEF 200 After this monster has been flipped, when it is sent to the Graveyard: Target 1 "Penguin" monster in your Graveyard, except "Small Penguin"; Special Summon it in unhidden Attack Position or hidden Defense Position.
  8. Substitoad WATER ATK 100 DEF 2000 You can Tribute 1 monster to Special Summon 1 "Frog" monster from your Deck, except "Frog the Jam". "Frog" monsters, except "Frog the Jam", cannot be destroyed by battle.
  9. T.A.D.P.O.L.E. WATER ATK 0 DEF 0 When this monster on your side of the field is destroyed as a result of battle and sent to your Graveyard, you can add any "T.A.D.P.O.L.E."(s) from your Beyond to your Deck. 
  10. Testudo erat Numen WATER ATK 0 DEF 1800 Neither player can Special Summon monsters with 1800 or more ATK.
  11. Tradetoad WATER ATK 100 DEF 2000 Once per turn, you can Tribute 1 Aquatic monster to select 1 "Frog" monster in your Graveyard, except "Frog the Jam". Special Summon that monster from your Graveyard.
  12. Treeborn Frog WATER ATK 100 DEF 100 During your Start of Turn, if this monster is in your Graveyard and you do not control a unhidden "Treeborn Frog": You can Special Summon this card. You cannot cast spells during this turn.
  13. Zone Eater WATER ATK 250 DEF 200 A monster attacked by this monster will be destroyed during the End Turn of the 5th turn after the attack.

  1. Aquaactress Guppy WATER ATK 600 DEF 600 Once per turn: You can Special Summon 1 "Aquaactress" monster from your Deck.
  2. Cannonball Spear Shellfish WATER ATK 1000 DEF 1000 While "Umi" is active on the field, this card is unaffected by any Spells.
  3. Dupe Frog WATER ATK 100 DEF 2000 This monsters name is treated as "Des Frog" while it is unhidden on the field. Your opponent cannot select another monster as an attack target. When this monster is sent from the field to the Graveyard, you can add 1 "Frog" monster except "Dupe Frog" or "Frog the Jam" from your Graveyard to your Deck.
  4. Flip Flop Frog WATER ATK 500 DEF 200 Once per turn, you can flip this monster into hidden Defense Position. When this monster is flipped, you can return monsters your opponent controls to their owners' Deck up to the number of unhidden "Frog" monsters you control, except "Frog the Jam".
  5. Penguin Soldier WATER ATK 750 DEF 500 FLIP: You can target up to 2 monsters on the field; return those targets to their owners Deck.
  6. Poison Draw Frog WATER ATK 100 DEF 100 When this unhidden monster on the field is sent to the Graveyard (unless it was attacked while hidden and destroyed as a result of battle), you can draw 1 card from your Deck.
  7. Psychic Kappa WATER ATK 400 DEF 1000
  8. Ronintoadin WATER ATK 100 DEF 2000 This unhidden monster's name is treated as "Des Frog". You can remove from play 1 "Frog" monster in your Graveyard, except "Frog the Jam", to Special Summon this monster from your Graveyard.
  9. Slime Toad WATER ATK 700 DEF 500
  10. Slushy WATER ATK 0 DEF 0 When this monster is Normal Summoned: You can send 1 "Slushy" from your Deck to the Graveyard. If you have 3 copies of "Slushy" total, either banished and/or in your Graveyard (combined): You can banish this card from your Graveyard to target 1 Level 5 or higher Aquatic monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target. You can only use the Special Summoning effect of "Slushy" once per turn.
  11. Squirt Squid WATER ATK 0 DEF 1800 Once per turn, when this monster is targeted for an attack by an opponent's monster: You can move this monster you control to another of your Zones, then, Special Summon 1 "Squid Ink Token" (Aquatic/WATER/Level 2/ATK ?/DEF 0). This Token's ATK becomes that opponent's monster's ATK. While this monster is in your Attack Zone, your opponent's monsters with ATK less than or equal to this monster DEF cannot target it for attacks.
  12. Star Boy WATER ATK 550 DEF 500 As long as this monster remains unhidden on the field, increase the ATK of all WATER monsters by 500 points and decrease the ATK of all FIRE monsters by 400 points.
  13. Submarine Frog WATER ATK 1200 DEF 600 Piercing
  14. Swap Frog WATER ATK 1000 DEF 500 You can discard 1 WATER monster to Special Summon this monster from your Deck. When this monster is Summoned, you can select and send 1 Level 2 or lower Aquatic WATER monster from your Deck or your side of the field to the Graveyard. Once per turn, you can return 1 monster you control to your Deck to Normal Summon 1 "Frog" monster, except "Swap Frog" or "Frog the Jam", in addition to your Normal Summon this turn.

  16. Unifrog WATER ATK 400 DEF 400 This monster can attack your opponent directly. When this monster successfully attacks directly, if you control a "Frog" monster other than "Frog the Jam" or "Unifrog" you can destroy 1 Spell or Trap your opponent controls.
  17. Wind-Up Snail WATER ATK 100 DEF 2000 During your Start of Turn: You can target 1 hidden monster on the field; return that target to their owners Deck. This effect can be used only once while this monster is unhidden on the field.

  1. Beelze Frog WATER ATK 1200 DEF 800 Increase the ATK of this card by 300 points for each "T.A.D.P.O.L.E." in your Graveyard.

  3. Deep Diver WATER ATK 1000 DEF 1100 At the end of the Battle on this turn, if this monster was destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard: Choose 1 Monster from your Graveyard and return it to your Deck.
  4. Drill Barnacle WATER ATK 300 DEF 0 This monster can attack your opponent directly. Each time this monster inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent by a direct attack: This monster gains 1000 ATK.
  5. Gora Turtle WATER ATK 1100 DEF 1100 As long as this monster remains unhidden on the field, monsters with an ATK equal to 1900 or more cannot declare an attack.
  6. Gruesome Goo WATER ATK 1300 DEF 700 
  7. King of the Swamp WATER ATK 500 DEF 1100 You can substitute this monster for any 1 Fusion Material Monster. When you do this, the other Fusion Material Monster(s) must be the correct one(s). Discard this monster from your Deck to the Graveyard to add a "Polymerization" from your Graveyard to your Deck.
  8. Liquid Beast WATER ATK 950 DEF 800

  10. Maryokutai WATER ATK 900 DEF 900 You can only activate this monster's effect during your opponent's turn. When your opponent activates a Spell Card, Tribute this unhidden monster to negate the activation of the Spell and destroy it.
  11. Mucus Yolk DARK ATK 0 DEF 100 This monster can attack your opponent's Life Points directly. Each time this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points, increase the ATK of this card by 1000 points at the Start of your next Turn. The ATK increase lasts as long as this card remains unhidden on the field.
  12. Nopenguin WATER ATK 1600 DEF 100 During either player's turn, when an effect of a "Penguin" monster is activated: Special Summon this monster from your Graveyard. You can only use this effect of "Nopenguin" once per turn. If a monster would be returned from the field to the Deck by the effect of a "Penguin" card, banish it instead.
  13. Penguin Knight WATER ATK 900 DEF 800 When this monster is sent directly from your Deck to the Graveyard by an opponent's effect, return your Graveyard to your Deck.
  14. Penguin Torpedo WATER ATK 550 DEF 300 This monster can attack directly. When this monster inflicts battle damage to your opponent: You can target 1 Level 6 or lower monster your opponent controls; take control of it until the End of Turn, but its effects are negated, also it cannot declare an attack, while you control it. You can only use this effect of "Penguin Torpedo" once per turn. At the end of the Damage, if this card attacked: Destroy this card.
  15. Servant of Catabolism LIGHT ATK 700 DEF 500 This monster may attack your opponent's Life Points directly.
  16. Skull Kraken DARK ATK 600 DEF 1600 When this monster is Normal Summoned: You can target 1 active Spell your opponent controls; destroy that target. Once per turn: You can change the battle position of this monster.
  17. Snowman Eater WATER ATK 0 DEF 1900 When this monster is flipped: Target 1 unhidden monster on the field; destroy that target.

  2. Abyss Warrior WATER ATK 1800 DEF 1300 Once per turn: You can discard 1 WATER monster to the Graveyard, then target 1 monster in either player's Graveyard; return that target to the Deck.
  3. Aqua Spirit WATER ATK 1600 DEF 1200 This monster cannot be Normal Summoned. This monster can only be Special Summoned by removing 1 WATER monster in your Graveyard from play. During each of your opponent's Start of Turn, you can change the battle position of 1 of your opponent's unhidden monsters. Once changed, the monster must remain in this position for the rest of the turn.

  5. Artillery Catapult Turtle WATER ATK 1000 DEF 2000 You can Tribute 1 monster; Special Summon 1 "Gaia The Fierce Knight" monster, or 1 Level 5 Dragon monster, from your Deck. You can only use this effect of "Artillery Catapult Turtle" once per turn.
  6. Barrier Statue of the Torrent WATER ATK 1000 DEF 1000 No monsters can be Special Summoned, except for WATER monsters.
  7. Beastking of the Swamps WATER ATK 1000 DEF 1100 You can substitute this monster for any 1 Fusion-Material Monster. When you do this, the other Fusion-Material Monster(s) must be the correct one(s).

Piwraithe the Ghost Pirate WATER ATK 1500 DEF 500 If a unhidden WATER monster(s) you control, except "Piwraithe the Ghost Pirate", is destroyed by battle or effect, while this monster is in your Graveyard: You can Special Summon this monster (banish it when it leaves the field), and if you do, it gains 100 ATK for each WATER monster in your Graveyard, until the end of the next turn. You can only use this effect of "Piwraithe the Ghost Pirate" once per turn.
  26. Reactor Slime WATER ATK 500 DEF 500 During your Start of Turn: You can activate this effect; Special Summon 2 "Slime Tokens" (Aquatic/WATER/Level 1/ATK 500/DEF 500), also you cannot Normal or Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except Divine monsters. During the battle: You can Tribute this monster; activate 1 "Metal Reflect Slime" from your Graveyard or Deck. You can only use each effect of "Reactor Slime" once per turn.
  27. Red Archery Girl WATER ATK 1400 DEF 1500
  28. Revival Jam WATER ATK 1500 DEF 500 When this monster is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard: You can pay 1000 Life Points; Special Summon it in unhidden Defense Position at the start of your next turn. If you control an active "Jam Defender" the Life Point cost is reduced to 500.

  39. Yado Karu WATER ATK 900 DEF 1700 When this monster is changed from Defense Position to Attack Position, you can discard any number of Magic Points you have. If you do, return that many monsters, spells or traps from your Graveyard to your Deck.

  2. Catapult Turtle WATER ATK 1000 DEF 2000 You can Tribute 1 monster; inflict damage to your opponent equal to half the Tributed monster's ATK on the field or destroy 1 Wall.
  3. Des Frog WATER ATK 1900 DEF 0 When this monster is Tribute Summoned successfully, you can Special Summon "Des Frog"(s) from your Graveyard or Deck up to the same number of "T.A.D.P.O.L.E."(s) in your Graveyard.

  2. Mobius the Frost Monarch WATER ATK 2400 DEF 1000 When this monster is Tribute Summoned, you can select up to 2 Spell or Trap on the field. Destroy them. If there are none, target opponent must discard two from their Deck to the Graveyard.
  3. Roaring Ocean Snake Fusion WATER ATK 2100 DEF 1800 Mystic Lamp + "Hyosube"

  1. Humanoid Worm Drake Fusion WATER ATK 2200 DEF 2000 "Worm Drake" + Humanoid Slime".
  2. Suijin WATER ATK 2500 DEF 2400 Reduce the ATK of an opponent's monster attacking this monster to 0. This effect can be used only once per turn. The monster's owner chooses when to activate this effect.

  1. Crab Turtle Ritual WATER ATK 2550 DEF 2500 This monster can only be Ritual Summoned with the Ritual Spell, "Turtle Oath". You must also offer monsters whose total Level Stars equal 8 or more as a Tribute from your Field.
  2. D.3.S. Frog Fusion WATER ATK 2500 DEF 2000 Des Frog + "Des Frog" + "Des Frog" A Fusion Summon of this card can only be conducted with the above Fusion Material Monsters. Increase the ATK of this card by 500 points for each "Treeborn Frog" in your Graveyard.
  3. Gameciel, the Sea Turtle Kaiju WATER ATK 2200 DEF 3000 You can Special Summon this monster to your opponent's side of the field in Attack Position, by Tributing 1 monster they control. If your opponent controls a "Kaiju" monster, you can Special Summon this monster in Attack Position. You can only control 1 "Kaiju" monster. During either player's turn, when your opponent activates an effect, except "Gameciel, the Sea Turtle Kaiju": You can remove 2 Kaiju Counters from anywhere on the field; negate the activation, and if you do, banish that Magic.
  4. Mobius the Mega Monarch WATER ATK 2800 1000 You can Tribute Summon this monster by Tributing 1 Tribute Summoned monster. When this monster is Tribute Summoned: You can target up to 3 Spell/Traps on the field; destroy those targets. If there were none on the field, you can force your opponent to discard 3 Spell/Traps from their Deck to the Graveyard. If this monster was Tribute Summoned by Tributing a WATER monster, add that opponent cannot activate traps this turn.
  5. The Tripper Mercury WATER ATK 2000 DEF 2000 When this monster is Tribute Summoned: You can change all monsters on the field to unhidden Attack Position. You can Tribute 3 monsters to Tribute Summon this card. If Summoned this way, while this monster is unhidden on the field, all monsters your opponent controls lose ATK equal to their original ATK. This monster can attack twice.

  1. Egyptian God Slime Fusion WATER ATK 3000 DEF 3000 1 Aquatic monster + 1 Level 10 WATER monster Must first be either Fusion Summoned, or Special Summoned from your Extra Magic by Tributing 1 Level 10 Aquatic monster with 0 ATK. This monster can be treated as 1 or 3 Tributes for the Tribute Summon of a monster. Cannot be destroyed by battle. Your opponent's monsters cannot target for attacks, and your opponent cannot target with effects, any monsters you control, except "Egyptian God Slime".
  2. Guardian Slime WATER 10 ATK 0 DEF 0 If you take battle or effect damage: You can Special Summon this monster from your Deck. During damage calculation, if this monster battles an opponent's monster: You can make this monster gain DEF equal to that opponent's monster's ATK during that damage calculation only. If this monster is sent from the Deck or field to the Graveyard: You can add 1 Spell/Trap from your Graveyard to your Deck that specifically lists the Magic "The Winged Dragon of Ra" in its text. You can only use each effect of "Guardian Slime" once per turn.
